Vivian Y. Chen, CFA
Portfolio Manager

Prior to Marram Investment Management, for more than half a decade, Ms. Chen was a senior-level investment professional at Karlin Asset Management, a billionaire's private investment office, named Institutional Investor's 2013 Family Office of the year. During those years, she made many opportunistic capital allocation and implementation decisions. 

Before that, Ms. Chen worked at Morgan Stanley & Co, in the Investment Banking Division advising clients on capital raises and mergers & acquisitions. Ms. Chen has also worked in Equity Research at Credit Suisse First Boston, and in Private Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch. Ms. Chen is graduate of the University of Chicago (A.B. in Economics) and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Ms. Chen currently serves as Managing Editor of Portfolio Management Jar, a web-based database of portfolio construction & management wisdom from great investors. In that capacity, she has interviewed and met many legendary investors, studying how they allocate and compound capital.
